DESTINATION DECISIONS | Convo #1: Introduction

You’re not standing still; you’re already on a path, and every decision you make is taking you somewhere. This is true for you and for every person entrusted to you. If every decision is a step, then where are your steps taking you?

In this opening conversation of "Destination Decisions," we turn to the wisdom of our theme verse Proverbs 4:18–19, where Scripture draws a clear contrast between two paths: one bright and increasingly clear, the other dark and disorienting. Every day, whether we realize it or not, we are choosing which path to walk—and every choice is moving us somewhere.

This episode invites listeners to slow down and consider how daily decisions shape spiritual direction. Through the Seek Him Speak Him framework, we begin by meeting with God in His Word, asking three simple but powerful questions: What is God saying? Why does it matter? How should we respond? Scripture becomes more than something we read—it becomes a lamp for our feet and a light for our path.

Jesus said He is the Light of the world, and following Him changes how we walk. Instead of stumbling forward in uncertainty, we learn how to choose a well-lit path marked by truth, wisdom, and faithfulness. These conversations are designed to be practical, repeatable, and accessible—meant to move easily from personal devotion into meaningful discipleship moments with kids, grandkids, students, or friends.

As we consider our own direction, we’re also invited to bring others along. Discipleship begins with a conversation, and every path is an invitation.

The question isn’t whether you’re on a path. The question is: which destination are your decisions leading you toward?
