colby + sarah larsen: a joint pursuit in god, family, art gallery business, abundance and connection

CANDYcolored studio podcast episode 259:

what a gift to spend time with gallery owners of golden spiral fine art - colby & sarah larsen!! i'm so grateful to be one of the 50 artists they currently represent in their 6 park city main street galleries (see in links below). in this sweet interview, hear how sarah & colby met at the airport (thanks to colby's sisters), were soon married the next year and began their grand adventure in art, business, infertility, blood banks, entrepreneurship, & family. they share about breaking through perceived glass ceilings, navigating an uncharted business model, learning to best support one another and cheer one another on along the way. there is advice for spouses and reminders of priorities, also suggestions specifically for artists.

whether you're a seasoned or new collector of art, and aspiring artist, a solo soul wondering if marriage and family is really worth it, this is the episode for you. honest hardship, grief and sorrow, learning to trust god above all and let him guide your journey. tips on how to date after marriage - making sure you're not "dumping" but instead "decompressing" before starting the official date. learning how to take on the "balancing act" of knowing what are the best responsibilities for each spouse - which to share and which to take on solo. setting, going after and reaching goals together. realizing that in your pursuit, that you've not only found joy, but see it also in your children (the best fruit!).

this is a treasure of a listen. soo many thanks to colby & sarah for sharing, inspiring and reminding us that the pursuit is truly a worthy one that we can achieve together. xo!

in the show notes, find links to upcoming gallery shows and to the episodes on the gallery youtube channel specifically for artists. enjoy!!
