नगरच्या शेतातून थेट Switzerland | An Engineer's Incredible Journey | American Bhau Podcast
The American Bhau Podcast
In this episode, I sit down with Vaibhav Gaikwad, who grew up in a farming family in a small village near Nagar, Maharashtra. Vaibhav is a software engineer who now lives and works in Switzerland with his wife and kids. He shares his full journey, from a joint family of 15 people working on their farm, all the way to building a new life in one of the most expensive countries in the world.
We talk about what it took to get the visa, what his first day in Switzerland actually felt like, and how different the work culture is compared to India. Vaibhav also opens up about real numbers, how much rent costs, what a software engineer actually earns there, and how that compares to what he made back home. He shares how his wife and kids are adjusting, whether he can still find Indian groceries and community, and if he has felt any anti-immigrant feelings as an Indian living abroad.
If you have ever wondered what it is really like to leave everything familiar behind and start over in a new country, this episode gives you an honest, no filter look at that journey.
