Today, let’s dive into the significance of the tabernacle in the Old Testament.
Did you know that the Israelites were led by Moses to a land of promise, where God instructed him to build a tabernacle? This wasn’t just a tent; it was a sacred space where God’s presence resided.
In Exodus 40, Moses followed God's detailed instructions to set it up and anoint everything within it, making it holy. Only then did the glory of the Lord fill the tabernacle! ✨
Now, fast forward to the New Testament! When Jesus was baptized, the Spirit of God descended upon Him much like the cloud that filled the tabernacle. Jesus is now our tabernacle; He is our covering, making us perpetually holy in God’s eyes.
