Florida Coastline Sizzles with Scorching Temperatures Extreme Heat Wave Brings High UV Index and Afternoon Thunderstorm Risks

Surf Report for Miami Florida

About
Surfers and beach lovers, get ready for a sizzling day along the Florida coastline! We're looking at some seriously hot conditions that'll make you want to dive right in.

Starting with Palm Beach, buckle up for a scorcher with temperatures rocketing into the lower 90s and a heat index pushing a blistering 106 degrees. The surf's serving up modest 1 to 2 foot waves with a moderate rip current risk, so stay alert out there. Northwest winds will be dancing around 5 to 10 mph, creating just enough breeze to keep things interesting.

Heads up beach warriors - the thunderstorm potential is high, so those afternoon clouds might roll in with some serious electrical drama. UV index is extreme, so slather on that sunscreen unless you want to look like a boiled lobster.

Heading south to Fort Lauderdale and Miami, you'll find similar vibes with slightly calmer waters. Surf's barely whispering at 1 foot or less, and rip current risk is low. Temperatures will still climb into the lower 90s with that same intense heat index.

For our Naples and Marco Island friends, expect a mostly sunny start with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms. Surf will be pancake flat at 1 foot or less, but don't let that fool you - the heat will be real with temperatures in the lower 90s.

Water temperatures are sitting pretty in the upper 80s across all zones - basically like a warm bath. Sunrise comes early around 7 AM, with sunset giving us a gorgeous show between 7:39 and 7:47 PM.

Bottom line: Stay hydrated, respect the ocean, and enjoy the ride!
