Ep 77. An High Priest of Good Things to Come (Honoring the Life of President Jeffrey R Holland)

Hello everyone and welcome to today’s episode of the pod today we decided to honor the life and legacy of President Jeffrey R Holland. President of the quorum of the 12 apostles for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Jeffery R Holland passed away at age 85 on December 27, 2025. Holland’s Legacy is a legacy that will never be forgotten.

From the very first time you hear him speak, you recognize something different. There is passion there. Conviction. But also vulnerability. He never pretended that faith was easy. He never suggested discipleship came without pain. Instead, he acknowledged the struggle—and then testified anyway.

That mattered.

Elder Holland taught that broken hearts are not disqualifiers for God’s love. He reminded us that tears do not mean failure. That doubt, sorrow, and weariness are often part of the very path that leads us closer to Christ.

And if there is one invitation his life leaves with us, it might be this:

Hold on.

Keep believing.

And never, ever give up on Jesus Christ.
