Jesus is Greater – Faith in Action (Chapter 11)

Hebrews 11 defines faith as the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things not seen. Faith is not blind optimism or denial of reality—it is trusting God’s promises as certain. Everyone lives by faith in something, but biblical faith is rooted in God’s character and word. This chapter highlights examples of faith in action: Abel’s offering, Enoch’s walk with God, Noah’s obedience, Abraham’s journey, and Sarah’s trust. Each story reminds us that without faith it is impossible to please God. True faith acts on God’s promises even when the outcome is unseen.
