Hebrews 2 warns us to pay close attention to God’s Word so we do not drift away. The message of salvation, first announced by Jesus and confirmed by witnesses, is trustworthy and affirmed by signs, wonders, and the Holy Spirit. Ignoring such a great salvation brings serious consequences. The chapter also highlights the danger of spiritual drift—becoming critical, neglecting confession, and letting occasional pleasures dominate life. Our response? Stay anchored in Christ, listen carefully to His Word, and remain steadfast in faith.
