Kurdish community lights up Sydney’s Hyde Park for Newroz celebrations - Civaka Kurd ji bo pîrozbahiya Newrozê Hyde Parka Sydney ron dike

The Kurdish community in Sydney celebrated Newroz with a vibrant cultural gathering in Hyde Park on March 29. The event, organised by Sydney-based community groups, brought families and guests together to celebrate the arrival of this important event in the Kurdish calander. Traditional music, dancing and colourful Kurdish clothes adorned the park. The Hyde Park event highlighted the importance of cultural preservation within the Kurdish diaspora, with Kurds from all parts of Kurdistan taking part.
