About this episode

Atty. Leivj Alimongahan's career as a lawyer is expansive. From handling matters concerning trade, competition, socio-economic development, land development, economic zones, public works & infrastructure, and national security as an Attorney in the Legal Services Division of the Philippine Competition Commission and as a Technical Assistant to the President in the Office of the President of the Republic of the Philippines, to handling regulatory compliance, investments, and corporate transactions of domestic and foreign corporate clients as an Associate at Galupa Law's Cebu office.

Now, he works as a solo-practitioner, collaborating with environment advocacy groups as a consultant and legal counsel. He has initiated cases before regional trial courts and the Supreme Court against government agencies and private companies to challenge policies and acts that harm to the environment as well as worked with the Senate and the House on bills concerning the energy sector and the environment.  He is also currently an Associate Professor of Law for Commercial and Corporate Law subjects in the UC School of Law and the coach of the UC School of Law Mooting Team.
