3308: Health & Wellness: Strengthening South Sudan's Ebola Preparedness Amid Regional Concerns

Although there is currently no Ebola outbreak in South Sudan, concerns remain high as neighbouring countries continue to report cases, prompting health authorities and partners to step up preparedness efforts. In this programme, we explore what Ebola is, how it spreads, the symptoms communities should be aware of, and the measures individuals can take to protect themselves. The discussion also addresses common misconceptions surrounding the disease and highlights the steps being taken by the government and its partners to ensure a rapid response in case of an outbreak.
