3142: FULL STATEMENT: Under-Secretary-General for United Nations Peace Operations, Jean-Pierre Lacroix

UN Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations Jean-Pierre Lacroix on Tuesday briefed the Security Council on the situation in South Sudan. Lacroix warned that the peace process is losing ground amid rising violence, political tensions, and a deepening humanitarian crisis, urging renewed dialogue and commitment from all parties to prevent further instability.
