About
Today, September 9th, the world marks the International Day to Protect Education from Attack, a reminder that schools must remain sanctuaries of learning and hope, even in conflict zones. Sadly, in many parts of the world, including South Sudan, classrooms and children often face the threat of violence and disruption.
On this special day, we are joined by Major General Chaplain Khamis Edward, Child Protection Officer with the South Sudan People’s Defense Force, to discuss why protecting education is so critical and what steps are being taken to safeguard the future of children in conflict-affected areas.
