Catechesis – The Chains of Atheism and a Dove at the Window – Fr Adrian Crowley and Deacon Don Devaney

Fr Adrian Crowley is joined by Deacon Don Devaney ahead of Freedom in Christ, a Eucharistic healing conference on addiction at the Great Northern Hotel in Bundoran from 16 to 18 October, and starts from the night an angel touched St Peter's chains in prison. Deacon Don asks Fr Adrian how a convinced atheist of twenty-two came to faith, and Fr Adrian tells how his community of former addicts in Liberia kept a rota of holy hours from four in the morning through the Ebola outbreak. Along the way there are Barry's tea bags posted to Peru, and the Missionaries of Charity in Ballyfermot drying theirs on a string.
