The "rotten boroughs" were one of the most infamous corruptions in British political history, allowing MPs to be elected by tiny numbers of people, often under the control of wealthy local landowners, or even the government itself. In this episode, we look at their history and some of their sillier stories, as well as some of the other types of now-abolished constituencies.
