2 Corinthians 4:17-18

We view our slight, short-lived troubles in the light of eternity. We see our difficulties as the substance that produces for us an eternal, weighty glory far beyond all
comparison, because we don’t focus our attention on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but the unseen realm is eternal.
When we are faithfully serving God, we will face persecution. Those in leadership or positions of
authority can be certain that they will face opposition as God’s chosen leaders. Yet, even in the midst of suffering, nothing can nullify God’s purposes. No amount of opposition, persecution, hardship, or suffering can alter God’s plan. He protects His own, and His calling on your life cannot be altered.
