Podcasts from the studios of Radio 1RPH
About
Maryanne Gore interviews Peter Lawler about his childhood memories of World War 2. Peter was a child of 6 in Boorowa when the war started; he remembers the men of the town digging trenches on the school oval, the Cowra breakout, ration cards and papering over the windows so the light didn't shine out into the street. Peter is one of our Radio1RPH volunteers and presents a weekly program "From the Columns" which can be heard every Friday at 12.30pm and repeated at 8.15pm.
