Knife crime not an issue in Petersfield but SCEPTRE aims to keep it that way

SCEPTRE is a national knife crime initiative to raise awareness in a two week campaign about carrying knives and weapons. 

The police say it's not a major issue here but they aim to keep it that way but talking about of consequences and reminding people that statistics show you can be hurt with the weapon that you are carrying. 

There is a ‘knife amnesty bin’ in the police station, where knives and weapons can be handed in 'no questions asked' . It is used and does take weapons off the streets.
