The Fifth Commandment given to Moses was to honor father and Mother... The Lord our God has always honored women in scripture. Women have been instrumental in the formation of the Chosen People, Israel, as well as many important points in Old Testament history. Certainly without a woman the Savior could not have come as He did. God bless our mom's.
