An introduction into the case of Marlon Howell. May 15, 2000. Marlon was 19 years old, soon to be 20, and lived in Blue Mountain, MS. The crime involved a white male, age 61, who was delivering newspapers to the convenience stores early in the morning. The crime happened at 5:00am in New Albany, MS. He was shot to death in his vehicle by 2 black males in an older model Cutlass. This was the initial 911 call. Marlon Howell, a 19 year old black male, framed for a murder he did not commit now serving a death sentence.
