GENRE: EARLY 90's BREAKS + HOUSE
From the DJ Dan master mixtape archives.
As far as I know, this is a very rare tape! I'm not sure if this was a one off tape or very limited. It's early DJ Dan and he's working a lot of DJ skills in this mix! This was a tape that Dan gave to his friend Keith Cody. Keith had put it in the glass case and gifted it back to Dan in the 90's. This was given to me, on loan from Dan, for me to remaster when he handed me a large shoe box of his master tapes. It's in a framed glass case that reads "In case of emergency, break glass". When he was still with us, I was going to shoot a video of me breaking the glass to get the tape out so that I could remaster it. After his passing, I can't bring myself to doing that. It's one of Dan's belongings that I will treasure forever. I was able to carefully remove the backing on the frame to access the tape. A lot of classic Techno Breaks and House on this one! Enjoy! R.I.P. Dan. You are so missed. We love you!
