A 56-year-old man was remanded in custody today charged in connection with the bonfire. He appeared before Dungannon magistrates court in Co. Tyrone this morning. Our Northern Correspondent Conor Macauley was at the court.

First time drug offenders will be referred to the Health Service Executive from September instead of being pursued through the courts. To explain how this will work, Professor Eamon Keenan, HSE's National Clinical Lead on Addiction Services.

Alan Bailey was a young Garda when he first came across brother Kevin Crowley who founded the centre to help those in need. Alan began working at the centre in 1972, and it still provides hundreds of meals everyday. He spoke to Rachael just before the lunchtime rush.
