We wrapped up My church and I series with My Church & Pastor. 

A pastor is not a mediator, a prayer contractor, or a spiritual broker. He is not God, nor is he perfect. The role of a pastor is to faithfully handle the Word, teach what was handed down by the apostles, and lead people to God, not to himself. 

In response, believers submit themselves to sound teaching, grow spiritually under pastoral guidance, and serve alongside their pastor in ministry.
