What a rich and grounding service today We were reminded why discipleship matters and how God uses it to shape our lives.Discipleship happens through teaching. Jesus and the apostles taught consistently, and discipleship begins by conforming the mind to the Word of God. God cares about how we think, because the Word is where real warfare takes place.Discipleship actively trains us to obey Christ in a world that constantly tries to disciple us through culture and information. Church shapes the heart and mind for eternity, and this training happens in real relationships—through proximity, accountability, and availability.
