2026 July 16 - NGC 300: A Cosmic Gemstone with Stars and Gas

In today's image, we see the spiral galaxy NGC 300. This is imaged in light emitted by sulfur, oxygen and hydrogen which helps to emphasize the gas could and star forming regions in the galaxy.
