Upper West Music Rivalry: Koficyber, Vimboy and More Fire

The Upper West Region music scene continues to grow rapidly, producing artists who are gaining recognition across Ghana.

Fans often compare three rising talents:

Koficyber – Known for his energetic performances and creativity
Vimboy – A strong contender with a loyal fan base
More Fire – A talented artist known for powerful lyrical delivery

Many music followers have even compared them to Ghanaian music giants like Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and Sarkodie, highlighting their competitive but exciting presence in the region’s music industry.

Despite the friendly rivalry between Koficyber, Vimboy, and More Fire, the GH Awards plaque presentation in Kumasi remained peaceful and respectful when both Koficyber and More Fire arrived to receive their recognition.

Interestingly, Vimboy, who finished second place in the New Artist category, did not attend the ceremony.

Celebrating Talent and Community Impact

The Ghana General Awards (GH Awards) continues to recognize individuals making meaningful contributions across music, media, entertainment, sports, and entrepreneurship.

By highlighting both established and emerging talents, the awards aim to promote creativity, inspire young artists, and encourage excellence across Ghana and beyond.

The 2025 edition of GH Awards proved that talent from every region of the country continues to shine and gain recognition on a national stage.
