Through McGovern Capital and its affiliates, he has co-founded over 25 companies, six of which became world or category leaders, and has served as lead negotiator in more than 15 international joint ventures across approximately 80 countries. McGovern was a founder of SoBe Beverages, helped popularize advanced water filtration technologies, and licensed skincare innovations used in ~40 % of products worldwide.
