The Leadership Void: Who Trains the Next Wave of Digital Warriors?

 Focus on mentorship. I need to challenge the 40–65 audience to stop complaining about Gen Z and theirs short attention spans, diluted focus and unproductive distractions. I believe we should rather start providing them with practical blueprints for competence, economic freedom, and character development. In years gone by, the relationship between fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, grandparents and grandchildren was akin to a family values training ground. Becoming a responsible adult, a productive member of society, a contributor to the common good of mankind was like an apprenticeship. 

IMHO, the process of raising such quality young people has been hijacked by culture itself, social media, mass media and government driven education models with a tainted agenda. In the ideology espoused by these entities is different, oppositional, antithetical. The concept of family is seen as an obstacle not a benefit. Traditional values are seen as outdated. Even basic definitions are being challenged. The modern culture is determined to indoctrinate, convince and dissuade the next generation.

It is time to don your diligence glasses. Be busy about the business of identifying narratives which do not agree with your values. Identify the root source, the end game and the actual intent of the narrative. Then mentor the young people in your circle of influence with a narrative which carries your values.
