What audience would he select that story for? Is he concerned about the connection levels, the metaphors, the lesson and application? What call to action would follow that story?

Leadership instruction often has similar challenges and characteristics. The request or requirement seems disassociated from the project, the purpose or even worse the people. It’s time to get to know the HUMAN element of the team again. Perhaps this calls for a family reunion, a company picnic, a holiday party to share real life before that too becomes artificial.
