About
LEADERSHIP CRISIS IN SOUTH AFRICA

Leadership crisis in South Africa

Azania like a desert is thirsty for excellent leaders, hence a lot of corruption and lack of services all over the country. More leaders are scouting for positions and titles so that they can steal more money from the poor while deceiving the have-nots with a lot of lies and empty promises. This leadership crisis is even manifesting in universities, it is more of popularity over a person with leadership skills. At some point, the problem is not only of those who lead us but those who choose who lead us are the problem too because they keep on choosing the leadership that serves their own needs instead of serving the needs of the masses.

One could argue that people on the ground keep on voting for these leaders that don't have their interests at hand because of a lack of options to choose from. If they add on that they could say that the famous leaders they vote for are visible and it is what they know hence they keep on voting for the same problems that make more problems.

When you do the analysis then you will realize that actually, people are afraid of change, new things scare people reason why they go for what is safe. What is safe is not actually safe to them, it is safer than the other option. People love to complain more than coming with a alternative solution, when leaders see that people are really desperate to have them regardless of what they do to the people they keep on doing bad to the people and the people keep voting for them in power.

The other problem started when we measured a leader by how well they speak over things, not how well they do things, until today our country is facing so many crises and we are still waiting for a leader who is going to save us.
