Kash Patel is perhaps uniquely ill-suited to be Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Recall that a Colorado trial court judge found Patel was "not credible" when he testified in the case litigating the issue of whether Donald Trump engaged in insurrection. This judicial finding has sever consequences for any law enforcement agent or official.
