Toyota, Waymo to Start Driverless Taxi Operations in Japan

Toyota Motor Corp. said Friday that it will launch the first driverless taxis in Japan in 2027, in partnership with Waymo LLC, a unit of U.S. technology giant Alphabet Inc.
