Moments With Mi Media - Coffee In Toe - Ep.67
In North America, specifically the U.S. it's just another day with the wrong people having access to guns. "A man wanted for killing four people across multiple crime scenes in Ohio on Friday has been taken into custody in Kansas, police announced Saturday. On Friday, Stephen Marlow, 39, was charged with four counts of aggravated murder. However, he wasn’t captured until around 10 p.m. on Saturday after going on the run. He is now awaiting extradition by local authorities." (Courtesy of Baller Alert)

Abortion Rights is still a hot topic as "Indiana is now the first state to pass a near-total abortion following the overturn of Roe v. Wade. Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb signed the bill Friday evening after the state’s House and Senate pushed it through earlier that day. The House then advanced the bill 62-38 before the Republican-led state Senate approved it 28-19, the Associated Press reported. The new legislation—which will go into effect September 15– does provide some exceptions; in some cases of rape or incest, when there is a fatal fetal abnormality, or when the pregnant individual faces certain health risks." (Courtesy of The Associated Press) The question though is, what is/will be considered a "certain health risk?"

If you fear death why kill? "Well, this is something someone should have thought about before killing an innocent Black man. According to court documents, one of the men found guilty of killing Ahmaud Arbery fears being killed in state prison." (Courtesy of CNN via Baller Alert)

What are we to believe, are whom are we to trust? "A French scientist has apologized after tweeting a photo of a slice of chorizo, claiming it was an image of a distant star taken by the James Webb Space Telescope. Étienne Klein, a celebrated physicist and director at France’s Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission, shared the image of the spicy Spanish sausage on Twitter last week, praising the 'level of detail' it provided."
