Seeking God is about the condition of our hearts. (Jeremiah 29:13)
When we seek Him our lives can never be the same again. (Psalms 27:8)
God has never desired that men seek Him for what He can give. His desire is that we have a relationship and communion with Him. When you begin to seek God the things of this world lose their allure, He becomes your only passion. The children of Israel only understood the acts of God however Moses got to know the ways of God because he was a passionate pursuer of God's presence. (Psalms 103:7)
The presence of God is the most valuable thing you can have in life; the enemy will do anything to get you out of the presence of God. He will cause you to sin because sin separates us from God. Eden is not a physical location but it means the presence of God. Any place can become Eden as long as it has the presence of God. The absence of the presence of God is what causes fear, self-consciousness, and the feeling of inadequacy then we become aware of our limitations.
The presence of God is a covering. We were all created with a place in us that longs for God's presence and nothing in this world can take that place. We cannot be sustained outside of the presence of God; we must learn how to pursue His presence. He wants to lift us from the level of living for the vanity of this world to the place where His pursuit becomes our number one ambition.
