In this episode, David and Eileen take a listener question who is concerned about how his latest relapse has affected his relationship. 

He wants to do right, but has gone against his word again. Now his wife doesn't believe him and won't speak to elders at the church because she feels they will just encourage her to go back to him. He knows he has done wrong, but is afraid of her abandoning him. If he has repented of his wrongs, how can he get her to see that?

David and Eileen discuss the reasons why his wife is right to be wary of the desire for him and the church to just "put things back" because it is here the addiction can grow further. They also discuss what true repentance looks like:
