About
In this episode, Rose Gamblin interviews Mark Hancock, founder and CEO of Trail Life USA. When the Boy Scouts of America began to shift away from their traditional values, Hancock felt compelled to continue those meaningful activities with his own sons. From that conviction, Trail Life USA was born—a Christ-centered, boy-focused organization built to nurture character, leadership, and faith. Mark goes on to share his belief that boys are different than girls, and that those differences should be respected and celebrated. He explains that boys thrive with structure, challenge, and clear boundaries, and that they benefit from environments that allow them to compete, take risks, and grow into godly men. Trail Life USA is designed to meet those distinct needs, offering boys a space to stretch, achieve, and be mentored in a way that honors their unique design.

Every child’s first school is their home. Homeschool Companion strives to support the 2 million families that home school their children each year. Hosted by Rose Gamblin, the program is dedicated to home-based education and making the most of the learning experience through student centeredness and differentiated instruction.
