⭐dead
是一个典型的 “副词性强化语”，用来极度地、彻底地、完全地修饰后面的形容词，相当于completely, absolutely, totally，但语气更强、更生动
dead tired = 累死了，精疲力竭（体力或精神上完全耗尽）
dead serious = 绝对严肃，非常认真（没有一丝开玩笑的成分）
dead right = 完全正确，说得一点没错
dead wrong = 大错特错
例句：
After the marathon, I was dead tired and just wanted to sleep.
马拉松赛后，我累瘫了，只想睡觉。
The lake was dead calm in the morning, like a mirror.
