Continuing from the last episode, Rabbi Steve Berkson takes us from Ezekiel chapter 18 to chapter 33. In the first part of the chapter, Yahweh appoints the prophet Ezekiel as a “watchman” who warns the people of that time about the judgment coming upon them. Yahweh also gives clear instructions for how this appointment should be carried out, with a warning to the prophet of the consequences should he fail to perform his duties.
