Last month we talked about 4 key strategies for working through stressful moments so they don’t linger with us. This month, we turn our focus to being in a slump - a temporary period of time where we perform a little slower or not as effectively as we normally do. We’ll review a blog I found on the Personal Excellence site and use it to talk through what a slump is, how to recognize if you’re in one, and what to do about it to work your way out of it. I challenge you this month to spend a good deal of reflection time when you are in a state like this to help determine the root cause of the slump so that you can focus your efforts on YOU and how to overcome the situation so that you can get back to being the better version of yourself.
