Episode 151: From Surviving to Storytelling: Brittney’s Memoir Journey
Healthy Living with Yoga Anita
🎙 New Podcast Episode! Healthy Living with Yoga Anita
This week’s guest is Brittney Stumpf — author, mother, truth-teller, and unapologetic breaker of generational cycles.
Born and raised in Massachusetts, Brittney spent her childhood navigating addiction, instability, and trauma. She became the caregiver for her special-needs brother while her parents struggled with substance use — a responsibility no child should have, but one that shaped her resilience, humor, and voice.
Her debut memoir, The Things I Never Said, turns pain into honesty and healing. With raw storytelling and a dark sense of humor, Brittney speaks to everyone who has ever survived something they never thought they’d talk about.
Today, she works with elementary children with emotional needs at Keystone Collaborative in Leominster, helping young people feel seen, supported, and safe — something she once needed herself.
✨ This is an episode about breaking cycles, healing out loud, and finding strength in the stories we were once afraid to share.
Tune in, listen deeply, and be inspired.
Brittney's book is available on Amazon, Barnes&Noble.com, and at select local libraries.
