She was then catapulted into global superstardom in another cinematic masterpiece, “Summer of ‘42”, which led to a string of other great movies including “Such Good Friends”, “The Carey Treatment”, “Lady Ice”, “The Reincarnation of Peter Proud”, “The Innocent”, “The Psychic”, “Scanners”, “Last Ounce of Courage”, “Reagan” and many more. On television, we remember her as “Lady Bobbi Rowan” in “Bare Essence”, “Danielle Reynolds” in “Cover Up”, and she was “Messalina” in the highly acclaimed 1985 miniseries, “A.D.”
She’s also appeared in a lot of TV movies including “Love’s Savage Fury”, “The Other Victim”, “Chase”, “The Red Spider”, “Glory Days”, “Perfect Family”, “The Cover Girl Murders”, “On Music Row” and many more. But far beyond her show business career, our guest has had a monumental impact through her writing, advocacy, humanitarianism, and public speaking. She’s written 2 highly compelling, emotionally powerful and inspirational memoirs: “From Fallen to Forgiven” and “Surviving Myself”, in which she candidly shares her struggles with fame, love, numerous marriages, and a number of personal tragedies. Her incredibly moving book entitled, “You're Not Alone: Healing Through God's Grace After Abortion”, has been a source of wisdom, enlightenment, solace and comfort to millions of women who have experienced what our guest has gone through.
