Given that movements were curtailed and routines disrupted, only a few things were left: 1) Praying longer 2) More time in the Word 2) having More fun with the family. We rarely went to bed before midnight I recall I subjected myself to having no breakfast till I'd spent at least three hours of continuous private prayer. The amazing started to happen; 1) I started hearing melodies 2) I also could hear a word or a connection of words. Birth of these, I immediately recorded them on handy devices within reach. Generally, all the 950 songs so far written in just one and a half years have been born in prayer, spontaneous worship, and lately, through the voice within, even when driving, taking a shower, or even while having a meal. The womb of Refreshing Music, therefore, is the presence of God, and there's a resolve never to trivialize any song.
