About

The Vegas Golden Knights (32-26-15) took home a point in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Edmonton Oilers (36-28-9) on Thursday at T-Mobile Arena.

The Oilers struck first on a Matt Savoie goal late in the opening period, but Mark Stone answered in the second to tie it. Connor McDavid quickly restored Edmonton’s lead, and after Stone’s second goal evened things again, Zach Hyman put the Oilers back in front before the second intermission.

In a physical, chippy game throughout, Ivan Barbashev tied it in the third to force overtime. Vegas had a power play in the extra frame but couldn’t convert, and Evan Bouchard scored late to lift Edmonton to a 4–3 win.
