Tale#28 Yuki Onna (Snow Woman)

G'niTales ~Good Old Tales from around the World~

About

Hello, fellow sleepy heads!

Tonight, I am reading a story that may give you a chill. It's a Japanese folktale that's been told a long time ago in one region of where Tokyo is today. The title is Yukionna, which literally means snow woman in Japanese.

While it has been told as a spooky story among people back in the day, The author, Lafcadio Hearn, known as Koizuni Yakumo in Japan, has written the story beautifully.

Alright, bring your blanket (maybe two) and I hope you enjoy tonight's story.
