The term "Dead Cells Biome" refers to the different zones that players must traverse in Dead Cells. In the base game, there are presently 15 main biomes and 4 boss biomes; the DLCs add 7 more main biomes and 6 boss biomes. The order in which biomes are encountered and the general location of their links are predetermined, giving players a great deal of flexibility in selecting different biomes each run. However, the biomes are divided into levels, with only one biome of each level accessible during a run.
