The Cougars of Brigham Young University are here to play real basketball. Once they snapped their 3-game losing streak by beating Texas Tech at home on senior night, they gained energy and grit moving forward. This was BYU’s first win against Texas Tech since joining the Big 12. Rob Wright III led BYU with 29 points, and Khadim Mboup was a monster on the offensive glass.
In Kansas City, BYU came to play. They beat Kansas State 105-91 and West Virginia 68-48, avenging their previous loss in Morgantown. They will face the Cougars in red on Thursday night. At this point, they have a 6-seed locked in for March Madness. A win would boost our ranking, but a loss wouldn’t hurt. I offer my firsthand insights into the Indian Wells pro tennis tournament, since I was a ball boy at the event. It is spectacular to see the best players in the world all in “Tennis Paradise.” Listen to this episode for my insights into the sports world! #byu
