AARP Election Day Primer - CT Urban Forest Network - Impact Fairfield County

As Election Day looms, we're opening with our partners at AARP Connecticut and delivering some important facts about critical issues elected officials are facing before you go to the polls on Election Day. We'll help you understand why it really doesn't matter how or where in the state you are casting your ballot - as long as you get out and vote.

Then we'll connect with a representative from the Urban Forest Network. There are so many reasons why canopies of trees in our more hard topped urban neighborhoods are critical for both residents' health and the environment. So, we'll talk about how the Network will be helping more cities achieve their urban forest goals with the support of a brand new grant writer.

And we'll wrap things up reconnecting with Impact Fairfield County. We'll remind you about this philanthropic movement connecting women across Fairfield County in collective giving - and why hundreds of participating women facilitate one powerful annual investment that promotes real positive change for nonprofits in your community.
