'The Song "You'll Never Walk Alone" is also known as Liverpool Anthem. It was Originally written in 1945 as theme song for a for a musical Film called Carousell. Later in 1964 Gerry Marsden who is from Liverpool was the head of a musical band named Gerry and the Pacemakers made a cover version of the Song You'll Never Walk Alone with his band. The song was one one of his favourite song as a kid since he saw the film "Carousel".The Cover song later became a hit in the UK and the Dj at Anfield usually play the song regularly before matches until it became a tradition, in 1965 You'll Never Walk Alone became Liverpool FC official anthem.
