Lv: Krēsli pildīja kopienas zāli, mājas ejas bija rūpīgi tīrītas, un no logiem skatījās gaismu gāzhīgs siltums.
En: The community hall was filled with chairs, the hallways of homes were meticulously cleaned, and a cozy warmth radiated from the windows.
Lv: Sniegs līgoja kā zīdelais paklājs.
En: The snow swayed like a silky carpet.
Lv: Aleksandrs paskatījās apkārt.
En: Aleksandrs looked around.
Lv: Viņš uztraucās, jo zināja, ka šī sanāksme būs svarīga.
En: He was anxious because he knew this meeting would be important.
Lv: Sniega vētras šobrīd bija parasta daļa no ziemas Latvijā, un ar katru gadu tās šķita kļūstot stiprakas.
