Lv: Rīgas Vecrīga bija balta no sniega.
En: Rīgas Vecrīga was white with snow.
Lv: Sniega kupenas krājās gar šaurajām ielām.
En: Snowdrifts accumulated along the narrow streets.
Lv: Gaisā bija februāra asās vēsmas.
En: There was a sharp February chill in the air.
Lv: Gaismiņas izskatījās tik silts aiz logiem, pievilinot cilvēkus siltumā.
En: The lights appeared so warm behind the windows, tempting people inside to the warmth.
Lv: Ina devās uz nelielu restorānu, kur viņa bija nolēmusi izdarīt grūtu soli.
En: Ina was heading to a small restaurant where she had decided to take a difficult step.
Lv: Viņa zināja, ka tas būs vakars, kas atklās vecās lietas.
